1. What we do

We run a fixed rule set over a read-only cost export that you produce from your own account — a Cost and Usage Report, or a Cost Explorer CSV, for the last three months. We never ask for, and never receive, credentials, an IAM user, a role, a console login, or any access to your AWS account. The file is data about your bill, not a key to anything.

What the rule set looks for: Savings Plan and Reserved Instance coverage gaps sized to the floor of your usage rather than the average, previous-generation instance families, gp2 volumes that should be gp3, unattached volumes and idle addresses, NAT gateway and inter-AZ data-transfer patterns, CloudWatch log ingestion and retention, snapshot accumulation, over-provisioned managed databases, and S3 storage-class placement.

2. What you get free

Within 48 hours of a usable file, at no charge and with nothing attached to it:

• The total identified saving per month and per year, and what share of your bill that is;
• the categories it falls into, with the number of findings and the saving in each;
• our single largest finding, in full — the line items from your own export, what it costs you per month, the exact fix, the expected saving, the assumption behind the number, and the command that lets you check it yourself.

That is deliberately enough to judge the work on. If the largest finding is wrong, or is something you already knew, you will see that immediately and you can stop there and owe nothing.

If we find nothing above the reporting threshold, we say so plainly, there is nothing to buy, and that costs you nothing either.

3. What the full memo costs

One payment: 10% of the identified monthly saving, minimum $250, maximum $2,500.

Paid before the memo is delivered, through a Stripe link for that exact amount. So a summary identifying $4,000 a month costs $400; one identifying $40,000 a month costs $2,500, the cap; anything under $2,500 a month costs the $250 floor.

The full memo contains every finding, in the order it should be implemented — zero-risk quick wins first, scheduling next, rightsizing only where there is evidence for it, commitments last — each with its own line items, fix, expected saving, and the command that checks it. Findings the export itself proves are kept visibly apart from findings that need one command in your account. It ends with what we did not recommend and why.

• Money back if your own check shows the memo's top three findings do not exist in your account. Say so and the fee is refunded in full.
• Nothing recurring: no subscription, no retainer, no second invoice, no share of your savings, nothing to report back to us later.
• The memo is yours. Implement all of it with your own team and never speak to us again — that is the normal outcome.
